Eight First-Rate Food Trucks Vie for the Great Food Truck Race, Season 2

Eight of the finest Food Trucks will compete in the second season of the The Great Food Truck Race and participants from Los Angeles are Café Con Leche and Sky’s Gourmet Tacos, Devilicious, from San Diego, Hodge Podge, from Cleveland, Korilla BBQ, from New York, The Lime Truck, is from Irvine, California, Roxy’s Grilled Cheese, came from Boston, Seabirds represents Costa Mesa, California, will bout for exemplary rendition of their innovative cuisines and dishes.

The success of the first tournament inspired The Great Food Truck Race to continue the challenge and bring more excitement and creativity to each competitor.  These mobile Food trucks will meet their challenges in food cooking, preparation and selling through hitting the roads in different cities, namely Malibu Pier, Las Vegas – the first stop wherein they will stay for two days with the least seller to be sent home. Qualified teams will proceed to Salt Lake City; Denver; Manhattan, Kan.; Memphis and Atlanta.  After deliberation, the remaining last two finalists will compete in Miami.

Aside from the $100,000 that awaits the Food Truck grand prize winner; starting August 14, fans can nominate their best choice of Food Truck by casting votes through online and text message. The nominating participant will have the chance to win a prize of $10,000.

Excellent skills, innovative cuisines, challenging cook-offs, culinary chops, inventive dishes according to available kitchen ingredients they can hold, and marketing strategies on making high sales of their prepared dishes for each city stop are only some of the challenges these mobile Food Truck competitors will meet during the challenge.

The Great Food Truck Race is produced by RelativityREAL, LLC.  The Season 2 of The Great Food Truck Race on its seven-episode series will be hosted by Tyler Florence including guest appearance of Robin Roberts anchor of Good Morning America and John Elway, NFL Hall of Fame Quarterback. The award-winning chef and food truck operator Susan Feniger chooses the winner of the first Truck stop in Malibu.
