Dr. Jesus C. Delgado Memorial Hospital has been nurturing Filipino women since 1948. Just to give you a bit of history about the hospital, it all started on August 1, 1948, the day it was founded by the late Dr. Jesus C. Delgado and was known as the Delgado CLinic. Then, in 1960, Dr. Mary Rose Delgado-Abad and her husband, Dr. Rainerio S. Abad, an OB-GYNE specialist and Oncologist, came back from the United States to give Dr. Delgado a helping hand as the clinic continued to grow.
A lot of changes happened during the years such as the take over of Former President and Administrator, Ma. Violeta Delgado-Cojuangco in the 1980′s when both elders died, the renaming of Delgado Clinic to Dr. Jesus C. Delgado Memorial Hospital (JDMH) in 1988, and in 2017 JDMH became the 14th family member of the Metro Pacific Group of Hospitals led by Mr. Manuel V. Pangilinan. The joint venture comes with exciting new offers, renovation of facilities, upgraded medical equipment and more!
Last June, the JDMH Center for Women’s Health was recently opened. It offers comprehensive health care services specially dedicated for women composed of the ff:
1) First Time Mom Unit – a facility that caters to the needs of soon to be first-time moms;
2) Ultrasound System: GE Voluson E10 – a top-of-the-line premium 4D OB/GYN machine;
3) Digital Mammography: Senographe Pristina TM by GE Healthcare.
JDMH is the 2nd in Asia and the very 1st in the Philippines to obtain the Senographe Pristina TM by GE Healthcare, a Digital Mammography with Tomosynthesis which allows the patient to control the pressure of the compression, providing them with the comfort and ease the pain during the procedure and delivering exceptional image quality at the same time.
As revealed in the recent press briefing for Dr. Jesus C.
