Just a quick post to say that in the Philippines, virus season is here. Actually, it started on the onset of rainy season and let’s not forget, Dengue killing mosquitoes are everywhere.
My youngest fortunately had his flu shots a few weeks ago so I suggest that parents should also think about getting their kids vaccinated. It’s better to be safe than spend thousands of pesos paying the hospital.
Kids are prone to common colds and coughs so, I make sure that my children take their vitamins everyday. They both have mild asthma so it’s important to catch that virus an at early stage. It’s really sad to see your kids down and sick. I know that most parents would say that “it’s nothing” but deep inside we’re hurting.
So, here are a few tips to avoid those common viruses:
- Don’t forget to take your vitamin supplements. It really helps in keeping our body strong and healthy
- Eat healthy food
- Maintain good hygiene
- Sleep at least 8 hours a day
- drink water at least 8 glasses a day
- Stay away from people who has colds and cough
