We’ve been in quarantine for a year now so it also means that I’ve been working at home that long. My grade-schooler has been doing online schooling for months now. Hubby has regular webinars to attend to. My eldest has social media work. At home and daily, we surf, learn, and earn. Needless to say, a faster internet connection is needed!
My work entails a stable and fast internet connection because I multitask every single day. I work online as a part-time Virtual Assistant, I also do Social Media managing for a handful of clients, I’m a blogger/vlogger and an influencer. I’m using a desktop, tablet, and mobile phone all at the same time. These are my daily jobs and if the internet connection fails, you can bet I’d be furious!
I was just talking to my husband about upgrading our current internet plan just so we can all be at peace in one corner and do our thing. But that would also mean an increase in our monthly budget yet no assurance that we can have a faster service.
Good thing though that Globe At Home released its newest and fastest prepaid Wi-Fi, so yey coz we have another option! We tried and used it consistently for about a week because we want to be sure that Globe can truly give us what we need – a really fast internet. We did what we usually do daily and yesterday since it was a Sunday, even watched Justice League on HBO while all my gadgets were also open coz I was monitoring my jobs lol.
I was expecting a lag or buffer while watching, coz that’s what we usually experience when many people are using or several gadgets are open, but the thing was, we were able to finish all parts of the movie without a hassle!
This is our daily situation at home, honestly. Before I’d ask my husband and eldest son to turn off their WIFI so I can work properly, submit my deliverables and earn. But then, I have to sacrifice a few hours also so they can do their works, too. It was so much a hassle coz time is essential to my work and that’s why most of the time, I had a lot of pending tasks, crammed and worst of all, there were times that I lost a few campaigns because I have no internet and can’t submit the deliverables!!!

So, yeah, I’m happy and if I’m happy with the way things are going with our newfound internet buddy, the whole family will be in a good mood everyday hahaha.. that’s because I’m not getting mad due of slow internet hehehe

Agree po ako dyan sa mga sinabi mo po mamu. Nakakaasar po talaga kapag ang internet ay nagbabagal o kaya di na maka connect dahil sa dami ng gumagamit. Kaya dapat po talaga napaka reliable ng internet natin para mas mabilis natin nagagawa ang mga kailangan gawin..
