My #OnlyOneTutuban Shopping Experience

Honestly, I haven’t been to Divisoria for almost a decade. Used to be a frequent shopper there when we still had our boutique, but since the hold-up case I was involved in, I shunned away. Years before I was able to ride a public transport too until Uber, lol. Anyway, I was invited to a “mommy shopping event” last May 30th for the #OnlyOneTutuban challenge. It was an overwhelming experience coz there’s time pressure, a Php1000 budget and I want to buy a lot and it was kinda hard to choose, hahaha!

As you can see above, my #OnlyOneTutuban eco shopping bag was so full, bursting with items I bought using the budget money they gave. When I shop, I usually follow a certain pattern, but that day, there was a list of things that needed to be included in the bag and due to time pressure, I rushed from one lane to another.

Below are the items I bought which totaled to Php957.00. I didn’t include the other personal things I bought. I thought since I was already there and really planned on shopping for my new house, I might as well shop some more.

Home Essential

Wall Decor Price: P155.00

Since I just moved to a new home, this wooden dining wall decor was the very first thing I bought. Caught my attention and didn’t let go hahaha.

Next was this purple blanket. Need I say more? It’s my fave color and it’s so soft and I badly need my own fleece blanket coz my son wants to take back his Spiderman blanket hahahaha

School Supply

The only thing I bought for this category is the Best Buy Crayons. Now, don’t get me wrong here hahaha. It’s because we already did the school supplies shopping a week before and since my grade schooler often uses crayons (he loves to color), I thought of buying him a spare one.

Toys

My boys have tons of toys and I don’t wanna spend more for this category knowing I have other important things to buy. I know they’d understand. So, I just bought these cute little Pooh bear bag tags/car hanging decors/key chain accessories cum “toys” hahahaha..

Sulit Buys

In this category, I spent most of my time looking for boxer shorts for my husband and 2 boys. They are comfortable wearing ’em at night and needed new ones. I know that there are stores who sell boxers for as low as Php35.00 though due to time constraint, I only found ones for just Php50.00 each. Truly the best buy of them all!

Most of us know that in Divisoria, your Php1000 can go a long way. Though Tutuban Center is an air-conditioned shopping mall within Divisoria, prices are still affordable and see, I was able to buy a lot of stuff!
