My cooking mojo is slowly coming back! Thanks to Knorr and the Lutong Nanay Food Fair I attended a few weeks ago at Mercato Centrale, I started frequenting the kitchen again, lol. I actually know how to cook many dishes, just that since I started taking on several clients at the same time, became busy, have carpal tunnel syndrome on both wrists, I delegated the task to my husband who is in fact a better cook (being honest here lol).
The food fair was held at the new venue for Mercato Centrale at 7th Ave. corner 25th St. Bonifacio Global City in Taguig. Hosted by the famous RJ Ledesma and graced by TV personalities and the media.

The primary target is to fight malnutrition in children and what better way to combat this is “one mom cooked meal at a time”. The Knorr Lutong Nanay Nutrition Program works in tandem with UN World Food Programme in sharing 1 million nutritious school meals.

Here are a few of the dishes cooked and presented at the Knorr Food Fair:

Ginataang Baboy
These meals can be easily prepared at home, and you bet I’ve already started cooking with Knorr! Anyway, I’ve tasted all those above (plus some more lol), interviewed some of the merchants, they happily shared their recipes. Prices ranged from php50-150. They’re all delicious, especially the bagnet sisig, adobo sa gata, pinugon na karne ng baka (roast beef), crispy adobo flakes, gosh – ALL OF THEM! hahahaha
By the way, sales from those Lutong Nanay tagged dishes will go to the #KnorrLutongNanayNutritionProgram #ShareAMeal so they can help feed more school and street children! Yay!
