foodpanda logistics hosted its highly anticipated ‘Pau-tastic Event ng Taon‘ for the second consecutive year, a grand nationwide year-end celebration dedicated to their Ka-panda delivery partners.
Last December 20 at the Globe Circuit Events Ground in Circuit Makati, the event aimed to commemorate the modern-day road heroes’ hard work and dedication while fostering a sense of community and appreciation.
With over 2,000 delivery partners attended, this year’s festivities revealed an array of delights, designed as a gesture of gratitude and a testament to the significant contributions of the delivery partners in ensuring efficient and timely service to customers.
According to foodpanda logistics Operations Manager Ruben Mariano, what set this year’s celebration apart was the special inclusion of Ka-pandas from provinces across North Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao. “The event embodied our heartfelt appreciation for the contributions of our delivery partners nationwide. We wanted to celebrate and thank all our delivery partners, no matter where they’re from, so we invited Ka-pandas from provinces too, not just Metro Manila.”
The ‘Pau-tastic Event ng Taon’ Year 2 was a day that brimmed with engaging activities such as raffles, games, and specially curated music that entertained and honored the delivery partners.
“We’ve lined up popular and trendy games we know our Ka-pandas will love! We want them to have a blast while grabbing awesome prizes,” Mariano shared.
Added to the excitement were local artists and bands who graced the stage for an electrifying concert experience for attendees. “There were amazing performances from local artists like Salbakuta, ALLMO$T, Yeng Constantino, 6 Cycle Mind, and Rico Blanco.”
foodpanda logistics also joined hands with government partners like Pag-IBIG and PhilHealth, and brand sponsors such as PepsiCo, Selecta, New World Diagnostics (NWD), Motivo, Caltex, POSH, JUANLIFE, Jollibee Food Corporation, The Generics Pharmacy (TGP), that made the celebration possible.
“We want this to be an event to remember. This year-end party was a testament to our commitment to building a supportive community among our delivery partners and showcasing the spirit of gratitude during this festive season.”
The ‘Pau-tastic Event ng Taon’ Year 2 was also streamed live via foodpanda riders’ official Facebook page and pandaridersPH’s official TikTok account which allowed a broader audience to join in and witness the festivities.
Supporting Ka-pandas nationwide
Throughout the year, the pandaPatrol: Hub on Wheels ventured into various cities and provinces nationwide, organizing engaging games and activities while serving as a support hub for delivery partners. At the event, the pink-colored bus was present to serve as a redemption booth where Ka-pandas can redeem foodpanda logistics merchandise. A Rider Support Express booth was also at the event, further showcasing the company’s commitment to supporting its delivery partners.
“We’re here for our Ka-pandas every step of the way. From fun events like the year-end party where they bonded with fellow delivery partners, to our panda Patrol Hub assisting with their concerns all year round. It’s about continuously supporting them and creating an inclusive environment where their voices are heard, their needs are met, and their hard work is appreciated,” Mariano assured.
