5 Things I Like About the ZenFone Max Pro M1

A mobile phone is no longer a luxury but a necessity. For many, the features are of great importance especially if you will be buying an expensive mobile brand. The thing is, with the rate our technology is going, you can actually buy an affordable smartphone without sacrificing the specs. ASUS, this year, delivered the Zenfone Max Pro (M1) which is popular for its awesome battery performance. A lot of people don’t know that aside from longer battery life, this model also has great features.

To further tell you about it, I’ve listed the 5 things I like about the ZenFone Max Pro (M1). I’m not that techy, just a simple mom who can differentiate and tell you what’s worth your money 🙂

18:9 FHD+ display

In my first review of the ZenFone Max Pro (M1), I didn’t give much attention to the display. But then I had to review a video-on-demand streaming service, so I chose to use it rather than my iPad. Was actually surprised (this time I really watched and opted to be away from my keyboard so I can concentrate on the tv series I chose) because my eyes didn’t hurt, well from watching on a small screen, that is.

Since I started the tv series from the pilot episode, I was amazed that I’m already on the latest one and I can say that I am now enjoying watching on this new 18:9 screen format.

Battery Life of 5,000 mAh

Just to reiterate, this smartphone has an amazing battery life. Check the photo below.

Note that the screenshot was taken a few minutes before I started writing this post. So, meaning, it’s fresh. I had it fully charged more than 2 days ago. Watched the latest 2 episodes of the TV Series image above. But I didn’t get to finish the last episode so if you look at the screen usage, I only used this smartphone for just 1 hour and 9 minutes. I still got 73% of the battery left and good for say 10 days more.

With my primary phone, watching for an hour would mean more battery consumption compared to the Zenfone Max Pro.

I didn’t use this ZenFone Max Pro (M1) for any other purposes aside perhaps to take some photos in an event and watch the series, so I can properly log the battery review.

I love my photos!

Both of my personal phones are high-end. Before I got the ZenFone Max Pro (M1), I brought them both to cover events. One is my primary phone which I use for basically everything. The second one is just a backup for the camera and video use.

Since I got the ZenFone Max Pro (M1), I now use it as a backup phone. The reason is that the photo quality is amazing! I actually compared it with my high-end primary and secondary phones and it’s incredible!

One more thing… Somehow, I like the default filters on the Zenfone Max Pro (M1) than my primary smartphone. I dunno, but I look better on this phone hahaha

My gaming companion during a traffic

You know how bad the traffic is here in Metro Manila. The ZenFone Max Pro (M1) is my BFF because I can play my fave offline games on a wider screen without worrying of charging it while playing for 2 or 3 hours.

This review is really helpful, sis, coz I’ve been checking different Asus phones lately na within budget lang pero priority ko is battery and camera talaga. And I saw their FB posts na nagsale. I’m excited to check this sa mall. Thank you for sharing! 🙂
