My Oishi Snacktacular Experience 2016

It was my first time and looked forward for weeks for this year’s Oishi Snacktacular especially the Oishi Snack Catcher activity. It was the one thing that I thought was really hard and something I wouldn’t do, but guess what? I did it and with flying colors! Woot! Woot!

But before I show you how I plunged into the sea of various Oishi snacks, let’s just delay that a bit and lemme share to you what transpired during the first day event.

So, I got invited to the opening day event for the media and this box of Oishi goodies served as their cool invitation. Who wouldn’t be excited and of course, my boy was the first one to open it and snacked-on his favorites Oishi Wafu and Smart-C.

The #OishiSnacktacular 2016 happened last July 15-17 at the SM Mall of Asia Music Hall and as expected, it was a riot (a fun and happy one)! Hundreds of people gathered to see their fave stars and to join the activities to win prizes.

Some of the activity booths that I was able to capture that were not so crowded, lol. I tell you, it started at 10am and already lots of people flocked the event!

There were long queues in any booth and I actually spent more than an hour falling in line for the Oishi Snack Catcher and almost at the Snack Shack. People were all excited and on a happy note, not minding the heat, thirst and sweat just to be able to finish an activity. Coz at the end of each one, you’ll see them all smiles and laughing out loud because of the experience shared with either family or friends.

Here were the booths/activities I got to finish. How I wished I brought my kids but then they’d be absent from school. It would have been a fun-filled bonding for us! Maybe next year, they get to come and enjoy the snacks err the activities hahaha..

So, who were the stars during the first day of Oishi Snacktacular? None other than teen couple Daniel Padilla and Kathryn Bernardo! They were much awaited by the crowd and you bet more people flocked the venue but only got to stay outside the barricades coz the first part of the event was closed for the media and their families. But, that didn’t stop the loud chants of the couples’ names and shrieks from the crowds. hahaha

Alex Gonzaga, Ramon Bautista and Slater Young were also present and got to enjoy different activities.

They all even figured out how to squeeze themselves for this Oishi Pack & Pose. This was the best shot I could get coz their bodyguards were so strict and only camera men were allowed to go near Daniel and Kathryn.

Sunday, July 17th was the revelation/intro of who’s the newest member of Team O – Maine Mendoza! I wasn’t able to go back anymore and a bit sad too coz I so wanted to meet her.

…. and now here are the videos of how I conquered (*wink*) the Oishi Snack Catcher and my acrophobia (fear of heights)! Though I didn’t get to break the record, at least this was another one of the series of firsts in my life this year.
