I was wondering what could happen if you have a lot of those share stocks neatly tucked in your special drawer but nothing to protect it from any accidental water spills or face it, as years go by, paper turns old and delicate to touch. If you would notice your old love letters or pages of an album seemed stained and crackling when touched, really sensitive.
My husband and I bought some stocks when we were still single. It’s now in an envelope sealed in plastic and has not been touched for oh so many years. I’m scared to even take a peek! Geesh!
But, long gone are the days that you need to hide your stock certificates just to protect it! Didn’t you know that you can also have it framed just like your photographs? Yes! Well, it depends if you want it displayed publicly or put them all in one glass cabinet inside your walk in closet or wherever you want to keep it. You decide, but have it framed. At least this way, it’s preserved to it’s original state and nothing to worry about it getting dusty either.
I discovered a site which sells stocks and for a small fee they can also have it framed using high quality wood materials. You can check out ShareinaFrame and guess what, you can give out stock certificates as gift to your family or friends!
Let’s say you fancy buying a single share of Harley Davidson stock as a present for your son’s homecoming. This could be a great gift and an investment because as years go by, a share could go up to a great price thus you’ll be receiving dividends higher than the usual.
Whatever you do with your certificates, just be aware that overtime, it could turn to dust. It’s paper and what can you expect after a decade or so? Of course, it will disintegrate if you will not act now. So I suggest frame it and let it rest on your living room.. or wherever you wanna place it..
