Use GrabPay QR code in All Starbucks!

The everyday everything app Grab, in partnership with Asia United Bank (AUB), has enabled the convenience of in-store cashless payments in all Starbucks stores in the Philippines with the use of AUB PayMate.

Since Nov 11, Grab users can easily use GrabPay to get their favorite beverage at any Starbucks store across the Philippines. The integration allows Grab users to easily pay using their GrabPay QR code. All GrabPay transactions earn 2x GrabRewards points that can be used for redemption globally.

โ€œStarbucks has been a Filipino favorite for many years. As every day everything app of Filipinos, we are happy to bring the convenience of getting your daily coffee fix via cashless payment with GrabPayโ€ said GrabPay Head Jonny Bates.

To use the service, Grab users only need to:

  1. Open the Grab app
  2. Make sure you have enough GrabPay balance
  3. Launch the QR scanner by tapping on the Pay icon
  4. Tap or swipe up to generate the QR/barcode
  5. Present your QR or barcode to be scanned by the cashier
  6. And Voila! You just paid for your Starbucks beverage using GrabPay!
