Getting old is not really something I dread about coz it’s the natural course of life. What I fear the most is when that time comes, what would happen to my kids or are they strong enough to face the world without a mom guiding them as they grow into manhood. Gee, I hope this isn’t a premonition or that something bad will happen, I only started this post coz I wanna let out something not so secret for all of us..
Anyway, this post is about my dad who just turned 79 a few days ago. We celebrated it at home with a feast for a king! Lotsa food here and there but what made it so special was that all 3 daughters were present along with their families and also my brother’s sons and their families. We’re just 4 in the family but my brother died a decade ago.
My dad was happy seeing us 3 women in his life got together. My eldest sister will be going back to the US in a few days and we were all so glad that she was able to make this birthday more memorable. My dad’s still strong as a bull and there will be many more birthdays to come..
Since we celebrated it at home, we didn’t put on our cocktail dresses and tuxedos, lol.. Here’s just one photo I am allowed to share ahahahhaa:
