Popeyes Now in Alabang Town Center and More Branches to Open Soon!

When news broke out last year that Popeyes is coming back in the Philippines I was overjoyed because finally, a fresh take in fried chicken and a new option for the consumers. Good “dating” memories came rushing in when I learned that there will be one at SM Southmall too! But before that, a new Popeyes popped and first in the South at Alabang Town Center and was launched last July 19th.

I got dibs a day before the grand opening when the media was invited to get a feel of the store ambiance and of course, the menu! The first bite of the famous New Orleans-style signature spicy fried chicken and I knew right then and there that my boys will love it! Hubby would be so thrilled and I’m sure will remember our good ol’ dates hehe…

Southies will rejoice at this new Popeyes resto in Alabang Town Center especially those who already got a previous taste of the spicy, flavorful, signature fried chicken. The biscuits are back, too, with new flavor treats such as the hazelnut and white chocolate which can be paired with your fried chicken or as a dessert, and Popeyes Spaghetti, their exclusive addition to the menu in the Philippines.

All your well-loved Southern flavors are now within reach as Popeyes offers its signature offerings – the highly-anticipated original honey biscuits, Cajun fries, and the mouthwatering Popeyes fried chicken that’s packed with distinct Cajun-inspired flavors from Louisiana, USA.

Complementing the whole Popeyes experience is their new global restaurant image, which was first unveiled in ArcoVia City.  Hip and more vibrant, it’s definitely an ideal venue where family and friends can bond over good food and great experiences.

Guests are in for a treat as every new Popeyes store has something new to offer. From Popeyes ArcoVia’s exciting and homey feeling to the fun and fresh interiors of Popeyes Alabang, a brand new dining experience awaits Popeyes diners at its newest branch.

“Following the successful opening of our first Popeyes Philippines restaurant in ArcoVia City, Pasig, we are very thrilled to bring it closer to the people from the South. We know that they have been waiting for this, and now it’s here!” says Francis Reyes, CFO of Kuya J Group, the parent company of Popeyes in the Philippines.

Just like the opening of the first Popeyes in the Philippines at ArcoVia City, Pasig, the Popeyes opening in Alabang also features a grand unveiling, a groovy marching band, and some of the most popular celebrities and influencers in the South.

Popeyes will be opening more branches soon at SM San Lazaro, Eastwood Mall, SM Southmall and Festival Mall Alabang.

Just a tip: If you want to eat at any Popeyes store, make sure you go there earlier than lunchtime or dinner time because you might have to wait in a long line to eat. In short, the Southern taste of Popeyes has been terribly missed and of course, this is new for a lot of people too! I also discovered that whether you want to dine in or take out, you have to fall in line like the rest. There’s also a separate line for PWDs and Senior Citizens and that’s good to know 🙂
