Lily’s Peanut Butter Creating Meals and Memories for Generations

There wasn’t any other peanut butter but Lily’s when I was a kid. I didn’t fancy eating rice in the morning, so peanut butter and jelly was it for me every single day. My lola used to cook kare-kare and if real peanuts na gigilingin wasn’t available, you can always depend on Lily’s which even made it creamier!

Last July 21st, mommy bloggers were invited to a fun-filled afternoon of activities including the Bento Box making contest, the Spread-uler where mommies made a weekly planner of duties and my friends and I played with a Giant Jennga where we needed to elaborate on what’s written on each block related to mostly parenting. I also got to bond with my youngest son in Bento making.

After all mumshies and kiddos have settled in their own spaces, we were brought back to the past and enjoyed the flashback of childhood memories with Lily’s. I asked my son what he remembered about the peanut butter when he was still a young, he said “that’s when and how I learned how to spread my own bread”, hahaha
