Herbalife Nutrition has been around for many decades. I’ve known this company since I was in college. I’ve tried some of their products when my sister became a member but since I was just a young, naive girl at that time and not really concerned about my overall health, I stopped taking them.
Millennials are so lucky and I think wiser than my generation because they are more open to these types of “healthy lifestyle” or “healthy living” thus companies like Herbalife have sprung up here and there over the years. It’s just a matter of choosing wisely which are legit and which ones can give positive true results.
This year, Herbalife Nutrition went beyond their usual product promotions and launched the Wellness Tour 2016. It aims to help millennials specifically as well as their employers on how positive nutrition and healthy lifestyle can be integrated at work. Meaning providing employees with nutrition products, gym memberships, regular wellness programs, outdoor activities and sports competitions.
I think that is a superb idea! This will also promote bonding with other employees from different departments, foster camaraderie which will ultimately create a strong and effective workplace! You can read a bit more info here.
A few weeks ago, I attended the talk of Dr. Julian Alvarez Garcia, M.D., PH.D, Member, Herbalife Nutrition Advisory Board about how millennials can adopt simple positive nutrition and healthy lifestyle habits at their workplaces in order to improve their overall well being in the long run.
He also gave tips about choosing healthy food choices, boost water intake, consume protein shakes to boost their energy at the work area. One awesome tip he mentioned is having an active living with co-workers such as running competitions.
But this doesn’t mean that we, those born under the Gen X era should just eat the millennials dust hahaha.. It’s not too late for us! We should also start living a healthy and active lifestyle and be able to compete with the younger generation when it comes to sports.
